NEW PAPER: The safety of Cannabis extracts (CBD Isolates) as novel foods.

At #LEGALFOODS we like to ensure our clients are leaders in their fields when it comes to both their legal and regulatory compliance efforts but also in the generation of IP and Science. As part of a recent project on #novelfoods we helped develop a science package on the safety and efficacy of a cannabis extract.

Whilst the whole issue of cannabinoids both in the US and and Europe has become a political hot potato, we want to ensure clients are well served to capitalise on their science investment. Such efforts can get buried in hyperbole of every man and his dog suggesting they have invested in R&D but they have no proof of such promises. Here we have a client that is demonstrating to their consumers, industry and importantly policy makers that their products are safe for use.
