Will ashwagandha be banned in 2026?

Ashwagandha has been hot property in the ingredients world but is under review for Article 8 restrictions. In 2024 the FSA sent out a call for evidence in the UK based on concerns some forms of Ashwagandha maybe toxic. Here we give an update on where the UK is on this issue for 2026.
